There are SO many events coming in the next few weeks that it seems appropriate to list them here. I hope that you'll find it in your schedule to come and be a part of one or more of these offerings from our music ministry:
February 28: Chamber Music Concert at 7:00 p.m.
Thomas Burge, Tenor will perform the music of Henry Purcell, accompanied by Emily Chatham, violin, Jeff Ferdon, Viola da Gamba and Henry Lebedinsky. Tatiana Karpova,Tara Fensom, Cynthia Frank,
and Tanja Bechtler will perform Alexander Borodin's String Quartet No. 2 in D major.
March 1: Lycoming College Choir on Tour at 7:30 p.m.
In this concert, the Lycoming College Choir from Williamsport, Pennsylvania will be joined by our very own Charlotte Children's Choir Youth Chorale.
March 5: Jamelia Davis, Mezzo-soprano at 7:30 p.m.
Come lavish in the rich, dark tones of Jamelia Davis, Mezzo-soprano, as she sings the music of Verdi, Berg, Satie, Montasalvatge as well as spirituals. This voice recital will be accompanied by Adam Ward at the piano.
March 8: East Carolina University Chamber Singers on tour at 7:30 p.m.
ECU's prestigious Chamber Singers will be joined by the Charlotte Children's Choir in this concert.
Each of these events will take place in the wonderful acoustics of our Sanctuary. Mark your calendar now and plan to attend one or all of these musical offerings!
